2002 D.O. Ycoden-Daute-Isora Viñátigo, Canary islands, Spain

Light ruby with orange on the rim. Heavy spicy oak on the nose, some smoky notes and red berries. Clean and straightforward in the mouth, elegantly juicy fruit, good acidity, again prominent smoky oak on the palate, some tannins, appears quite full-bodied, good finish. Could be even more harmonious given some time.
