2007 D.O. Calatayud Castillo de Maluenda, Aragón, Spain

Cool, slightly brittle nose, cherries and red berries, light herbaceous notes and some undergrowth. Bitter preserved red berry fruit on the palate, hint of pureed cherries, some moreearthy ntoes and undergrowth, slightly rustic style, light mineral notes, integrated, fine-grained tannins, has astringent as well as delicate juicy aspects, attractive to good finish.
