2007 D.O. Calatayud Garnacha Castillo de Maluenda Viñas Viejas, Aragón, Spain

Very slightly stalky cherry and red berry fruit on the nose, slightly artificial style, plummy notes and some malted notes. Youthful on the palate, fleshy preserved cherriesd and red berries, malted notes and herbaceous notes, moderate tannins, uncomplicated, approachable style, has some substance, mineral notes, but not particularly deep, slightly bitter and astringent on an attractive to good finish.
