2007 D.O. Calatayud Garnacha-Syrah Castillo de Maluenda, Aragón, Spain

Youthful, quite firm nose, cherries and berries, light peppery notes, light malted notes, some mienral notes and undergrowth. Cool, compact, straightforward style, fairly prominent cherries and red berries on the palate, light herbaceous notes, slightly bitter notes in the background, integrated tannins, juicy and has some substance, still very youthful, slightly rustic style, mineral traces on a good finish.
