2011 Chianti Classico DOCG Riserva Vigna Misciano, Tuscany, Italy

Rather tart fragrance of partly preserved black and slightly red berries with dried vegetal to herbaceous aromas, restrained wood tones and some withered foliage, cedar notes and tar. Relatively dark, partly preserved, juicy fruit in the mouth, slightly crumbly sandy tannins and nutty spicy oak, some cedar notes, some persistence on the palate, a hint of dark chocolate, delicately tobacco, has a melt and bite, very good, juicy and spicy finish with handle.
