2005 Beaune Premier Cru AOC Beaune du Château, Burgundy, France

Partly dried apples and some melon on the nose, light mineral notes, very light yeasty notes and delicate spicy traces. Elegant juicy melon and apple fruit on the palate, slightly spicy with traces of yeast and anise, fairly creamy, mineral traces in the background, good persistence, not particularly deep, but very well balanced, light bite on a good finish.
