2004 Barbera d'Asti DOC Monte Bruna, Piedmont, Italy

Ripe cherry preserves and red berries on the nose, roasted notes. Firm in the mouth, noticeable acidity and vegetal notes, firm, youthful tannins, firmly structured and persistent on the palate, mineral notes, still very young, tart finish. For the moment, still too tart.
