2013 Merlot-Cabernet Franc-Rubin MCR Blend, Oberthrakische Tiefebene, Bulgaria

Slightly tobacco, earthy and leathery smell of mostly dark berries and a little cherries. Ripe, partly preserved fruit with nutty and slightly chocolatey oak, very light cedar on the palate, also slightly spicy, warm alcohol, slightly opaque and drying tannins, a hint of citrus fruit in the background, good, if a little brittle finish.
