1999 Barbera d'Alba DOC Superiore Naunda, Piedmont, Italy

Mature nose, preserved berries and plums, cedary and herbaceous notes, light roasted notes and spicy oak, Compact on the palate, quite mature, partly dried berries, cranberries and some prunes,very slightly sweetish, still discernible oak, earthy and herbaceous notes, some more cedary notes, integrated, medium, fine-grained tannins, light acid bite provides delicate juicy feel, has some substance, fairly persistence, very good finish.
