Tar and tobacco on the nose, earthy notes, a little dried mushrooms and a few soup herbs and only restrained berry tones that become clearer with air. Rather firm, tart and juicy fruit with tobacco and herbaceous nuances, present tannin and some acid bite, persistent on the palate, some minerality in the background, floral traces, roasted and slightly bacon aromas, hinted honey, a hint of citrus fruits, very good, warm and spicy finish with partly dried and candied fruit.

Best to drink: Mitte 2020 bis 2028+. What our ratings mean
