2015 Barolo DOCG Diano d'Alba "Contadin", Piedmont, Italy

Tart, slightly tobacco and dried-floral nose, ripe red and some black berries, some tar and pepper. Clear, tart fruit with elegant acid bite and slightly dusty tannins, herbaceous and light peppery spicy notes on the palate, a hint of citrus zest, salty mineral notes, has a lot of freshness, a touch of cocoa and tobacco, very good, firm, tart - juicy and slightly bitter spicy finish.

Best to drink: Mitte 2020 bis 2028+. What our ratings mean
