2018 Grauburgunder trocken, Rheinhessen, Germany

Fairly cool, slightly restrained and very slightly muted nose, light vegetal and dried herbaceous notes, pomaceous and stone fruit, light yeasty notes, hint of bacon, touch of red berries. Straightforward, fairly tart citrus fruit on the palate, hint of dried herbs and yeasty notes, lively, fairly prominent acidity, light grip, clear contours, salty and chalky notes, still slightly astringent on a good finish.
