2004 Nebbiolo d'Alba DOC Gerbole, Piedmont, Italy

Mixed berries, plums and preserved cherries on the noe, some wilted flowers and tobacco. Tart juicy fruit on the palate, fairly prominent, firm, slightly sandy tannins, dried floral notes and a hint of citrus, good persistence, light spicy vegetal notes and an acid bite on a good finish.
