2009 Burkheim Feuerberg Spätburgunder trocken ViniGrande, Baden, Germany

Slightly hazy and cooked berry nose with spicy, herbal and slightly dried floral tones and a hint of chocolate in the background. Noticeable wood in the mouth, bitter chocolate, again cooked fruit, quite fine tannin, smoky and spicy notes on the palate, noticeable alcohol, not too deep, decent to good finish.
