2006 Franciacorta DOCG Brut (Deg.:2010), Lombardy, Italy

Fairly complex nose with prominent yeasty notes, citrus fruit, partly dried sour apples, prominent herbaceous notes. Juicy on the palate, lively fruit, very fine, refreshing mousse, quite creamy, prominent vegetal and light earthy notes, fairly persistent, not particularly deep, but has good grip, refreshing, good to very good finish.
