1999 Cellatica DOC Superiore "Clavis", Lombardy, Italy

Editor note: Warm spicy nose with prominent oak, cocoa, coffee and smoky malted notes, hints of preserved dark berries. Noticeable, slightly green oak on the palate, sweetish medicinal notes, berries and cool herbaceous notes, quite young on the one hand, on the other hand the oak is really dominant, not a lot of real substance, and thus difficult to forecast the development, attractive to good finish.
