Mature nose, mushrooms, iodine and onions, bruised pomaceous and stone fruit, tart nutty aromas, soy and rice. Fairly firm, tart, partly candied fruit on the palate, prominent yeasty notes, yellow spice, herbaceous and light peppery notes, some more rice, reminiscent of sake, firm grip, good persistence, prominent oxidative notes, but also still fresh at the same time, some depth, bitter nutty aromas, soy and iodine, some quince jelly, hint of hery malted sweets, light smoky and peppery notes on a very good firm finish.
