Preserved cherries and mixed berries on the nose, vegetal notes, hint of nougat, fairly prominent animal notes, light oak. Prominent spicy oak on the palate, some more nougat, tart juicy fruit, fairly prominent and slightly astringent tannins, very creamy, noticeable alcohol, light acid bite, not particularly deep, attractive to good finish.

Best to drink: Bis 2011+. What our ratings mean
