2016 Puglia IGT Primitivo Gran Maestoso, Apulia, Italy

Clear, slightly dried herbaceous and delicately spicy nose, ripe mixed berries and plums with minty and tobacco notes. Ripe, juicy, partly preserved fruit on the palate, sweetish cloves of cloves, some roasted and provence herbs, fine sandy tannins, good substance and persistence, some pomegranate, juicy and slightly chocolaty with some bite and a long finish.
