Firm, polished, fairly deep nose, hint of tobacco, partly fresh and partly preserved red and black berries, hint of tar, juniper, oaky traces, prominent mineral notes. Firm, fairly dark, ripe, very juicy fruit on the palate, firm, fine tannins, light acid bite, persistent, light peppery notes and some dried herbs, spicy oak and dark chocolate, good depth, mineral notes on a very good, firm, juicy finish with more spicy oak. Excellent Ghemme.
