2005 Lessini (Monti Lessini) DOC Re D'Aurum, Veneto, Italy

Pomaceous fruit and melon on the nose, herbaceous traces, nutty notes and spicy oak. Full-bodied style, more spicy oak, ripe yellow fruit on the palate, herbaceous notes, elegant acidity, noticeable alcohol, good persistence, lively and very creamy, has some depth, noticeable alcohol again on an otherwise very good finish.

Editor note: Yellow fruit on the nose, light nutty and vegetal notes, light herbaceous notes, light spicy oak. Uncomplicated style, preserved, delicately creamy yellow fruit on the palate, some spicy oak, coconut and some sweetish notes, but also slightly rough, integrated, very moderate acidity, slightly rustic style, needs lots of aeration to become more harmonious, gains in structure and depth, good finish.
