2003 Aglianico del Vulture DOC Terre di Orazio, Basilicata, Italy

Sweetish spicy nose, dried flowers, partly dried, preserved red berries and plums, a hint of dark chocolate and anise. Prominent floral notes on the palate, roasted and smoky notes, quite soft fruit, dusty dry tannins, not particularly deep, attractive finish.
