2004 Aglianico del Vulture DOC Vignali, Basilicata, Italy

Partly dried red berries o nthe nose, delicate herbaceous notes, sweetish and spicy, slightly smoky. Red berries and tart vegetal notes on the palate, light acid bite, hint of wilted flowers, fairly light-bodied, delicate tart note, attractive finish.
