2006 Colli Altotiberini DOC Riserva Tarragoni, Umbria, Italy

Fairly shy nose, complex with preserved berries and some cherries, delicate spice, licorice and herbaceous notes. Cool style, compact, delicately tart cherry and red currant fruit on the palate, touch of blackberries, some cassis and herbaceous notes, delicate acid bite, integrated tannins, has backbone, some substance, elegantly juicy on a good finish.
