2009 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Gewürztraminer "Solos" demeter, Alto Adige, Italy

Fairly shy, compact nose, pomaceous fruit and lychee, mineral and light burnt notes, undergrowth, herbaceous and some light floral notes. Still fairly youthful on the palate, polished, fairly cool pomaceous fruit, some more lychee, slightly spicy with some delicate bitter notes, mineral notes in the background, moderate, integrated acidity, very firm with a good backbone, high alcohol already surprisingly well integrated, full-bodied and has substance and contours, refreshing and lively, light spice and prominent herbaceous notes on a very good long finish that combines cool and warm elements.
