2006 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Pinot Noir Riserva, Alto Adige, Italy

Editor note: Slightly tart and also slightly dissolute nose, cherries and red berries, hint of licorice and malt, light spicy oak. Youthful and fruity on the palate, fairly juicy, light acid bite, still has some carbon dioxide, fine ,very slightly astringent tannins, light smoky traces, mineral notes develop with aeration, quite firm, quite a long finish.
