2009 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Merlot, Alto Adige, Italy

Fairly intense nose, cranberries and herbs, earthy notes and some chocolate. Crisp, juicy cranberry and red currant fruit on the palate, more herbaceous notes, elegant acid bite, integrated tannins, has backbone and substance, quite straightforward, refreshing style, attractive to good finish.
