2006 Basilikata IGT Il Rogito, Basilicata, Italy

Slightly jammy berry fruit on the nose, spicy with a hint of oak. More green spicy oak on the palate, coconut and some medicinal herbs, soft, slightly bitter fruit, cherries and red berries, integrated acidity, light tannic touch on an attractive finish. Full-bodied and has some potential for maturation.
