2006 Basilikata IGT L'Atto, Basilicata, Italy

Partly dried and preserved red berries on the nose, cherries and plums, light vegetal notes, light roasted oak. Elegant juicy fruit on the palate, spicy oak, light vegetal notes, fine dusty tannins, fairly juicy, quite creamy with noticeable alcohol, fairly persistent, not particularly deep, warm and creamy on the finish with notes of chocolate.
