Cantine Leonardo Da Vinci
Winery Wines

2003 Vin Santo dell'Empolese DOC Leonardo® "Tegrino", Tuscany, Italy

Complex nose with dried yellow fruit, dried and roasted nuts, some undergrowth, currants, molasses, prominent oxidative notes. DElicately creamy on the palate, caramelised nuts and preserved yellow fruit, some more nutty and slightly bitter herbaceous notes, has structure, persistence and some depth, again quite oxidative, integrated moderate acidity, herbaceous and nutty notes, long finish. Very well made, and typical of the style.
