2011 Salice Salentino DOC Posta Piana, Apulia, Italy

Tart, a little dried-meaty aroma of mixed berries with moderately woody, delicately herbal and reminiscent of chestnuts. Clear, fine-juicy fruit in the mouth, nutty-woody and dried-vegetable hints, fine tannin and delicate acid bite, a little earthy on the palate, certain persistence, harmonious and animating, good to very good, tart-juicy and somewhat spicy finish with grip.
