2012 Puglia IGT Primitivo Posta Piana, Apulia, Italy

Slightly fleshy aroma of dried plums and cherries with black berry notes, some licorice, dry herbs, spices and leather. Soft, ripe, slightly jammy fruit on the palate, vegetal notes, some nutty oak, predominantly mature, slightly astringent tannins, sweetish and creamy, warm chocolate, attractive to good finish.
