2014 Puglia IGT Uva di Troia Posta Piana, Apulia, Italy

Slightly open, tobacco-like, earthy and oaky notes, some partly dried dark berries, leathery, bloody and greasy notes. Ripe, preserved fruit on the palate, tobacco and nutty oak, some smoke on the palate, fine sandy tannins, fairly full-bodied and warm, very creamy, fairly soft style, a little bit of cocoa in the background, a touch of mushrooms, good to very good finish.
