2016 Barbera d'Asti DOCG "Maridá", Piedmont, Italy

Somewhat herbaceous, spicy and earthy scent of mixed berries and a little cherry with slightly smoky wood notes. Somewhat preserved-fruity and sweetish in the mouth, relatively fine tannin and some bite, smoky and a little bit tobacco wood aromas, a hint of tar, hinted tobacco, has power, good persistence, good to very good finish with some bite and noticeable alcohol
