2016 Chianti Classico DOCG Riserva "Caparsino", Tuscany, Italy

Fairly firm, tart nose, black berries and a hint of sour cherries with earthy notes, hints of pepper, tobacco and citrus zest. Clear, fresh, tart and juicy fruit, partly preserved, slightly acid bite, very fine, youthful tannins, good substance and persistence, citrus notes in the background, again some pepper, nutty traces in the background, some mineral notes, very good, solid , fresh and juicy finish.
