Developed, tart, slightly iodised aroma of ripe black berries with Mediterranean herbs, meaty notes, pepper, juniper and woody tones. Ripe, developed, warm fruit, quite present, crumbly tannin, some bite, smoky wood notes, dried herbs, fleshy tones and a little dark ethereal spice, some iron and iodine, smoky notes, warming alcohol, some salt, bready and malty hints, slightly drying on a very good finish. Slightly past its prime, but still very good.

Best to drink: Austrinken. What our ratings mean

Editor note: Translate to English Fester, leicht speckiger und röstiger Duft nach reifen schwarzen Beeren, etwas schwarzen Oliven und getrocknetem Oregano mit ledrigen, erdigen bis mineralischen und getrocknet-fleischigen Tönen. Kräftig, fest und herb-saftig im Mund, reife dunkle Frucht mit gewürzigen und kräuterigen Aromen, etwas Säurebiss und straffes Tannin, kandierte und getrocknete Zitrusfrüchte im Hintergrund, nachhaltig, bei aller Kraft auch mit kühlen Elementen, viel Griff, tabakige Aromen, ein wenig Kakao im Hintergrund, nussige Töne, sehr guter, saftiger und würziger Abgang.
