2015 Colli della Toscana Centrale IGT, Tuscany, Italy

Slightly nutty and tarry scent of black and a little red berries with red paprika powder, a little cocoa and tobacco, cedar wood and black tea in the background. Quite firm and rather tart in the mouth, rather dark, quite polished fruit with dried vegetal, slightly smoky and woody notes, clearly salty and somewhat earthy in the background, fine sandy, still slightly astringent tannins, certain bite, good depth, rather undeveloped, very much good to long, firm, juicy finish with nutty spice.

Best to drink: Mitte 2019 bis 2028+. What our ratings mean
