2003 Barbera d'Alba DOC Surì, Piedmont, Italy

Medium-intense nose, preserved cherries and red berries, mineral notes, licht roasted notes. Clean and straightforward in the mouth, tart fruit, fine sandy and slightly astringent tannins, not a lot of substance, some bitter notes, tart fruity notes on the finish.
