2005 Strevi DOC, Piedmont, Italy

Slightly sharp nose with some volatile notes, preserved and candied citrus fruit, bruised apples, prominent vegetal notes, candied nuts and some varnish. Full-bodied and slightly creamy on the palate, very sweet fruit, prominent notes of candied apples and almonds, sweetish spicy notes, dried flowers, delicate bitter notes, good persistence, not particularly deep, good finish.
