2016 Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG "La Bastia" , Ca' de' Rocchi, Veneto, Italy

Slightly dried floral and spicy scent of dried and partly preserved mixed berries with cherry notes, a little juniper and rose hip, as well as woody and herbaceous notes. relatively tart, quite juicy fruit, herbaceous and dried floral aromas, moderate wood, present, ripe, fine sand tannins, good substance and sustainability, mineral notes, a little liquorice and leather, peppery spice, certain depth, has a bite, smoky nuances, rose hip again, very good, quite firm finish.
