Quite a deep nose, elegant and spicy, ripe and partly dried red berries and plums, touch of wilted flowers, some dried herbs and mineral traces. Full-bodied ripe red fruit on the palate, more plums, some sweetish oak, very creamy, persistent, very fine, fairly prominent and gripping tannins, good depth, quite racy and has some bite, very harmonious, sweetish on a good long finish. Has developed magnificently, much better than anticipated.

Best to drink: Bis 2016+. What our ratings mean

Editor note: Light spicy oak on the nose, wilted flowers, some white vegetable and some verry notes. Oak, too, on the palate, lots of dry tannins, noticeable alcohol, quite creamy, fruit pushed into the background, quite good persistence on the palate, sweetish and creamy, floral notes, good sweetish finish.
