2010 Barolo DOCG Riserva "Boschetti", Piedmont, Italy

Slightly old oak and cedar nose, ripe red berries and some preserved plums, floral and vegetal notes, reminiscent of root vegetables. Straightforward, rather tart fruit with nutty, old oak and mushroom notes, fine sandy, very slightly astringent tannins, a hint of ash in the background, not particularly deep, fairly persistent and powerful, vegetal notes, slightly nutty, straightforward style, not particularly deep, good to very good finish.
