2013 Barolo DOCG "Boschetti", Piedmont, Italy

Very slightly peppery and dried herbaceous nose, with tobacco and wilted floral aromas, red and some black berries, earthy notes and root vegetables. Tart fruit on the palate, earthy, light old oak and nutty notes, some foliage and undergrowth, fairly persistent, slightly astringent tannins, light bitter note on the palate, earthy notes, a hint of cardamom, cocoa and dried herbs, good to very good, tart finish with a warm finish Alcohol.
