Fairly mature nose, black berries and plums, herbaceous and light malted notes,m hint of cabbage, spicy oak. Quite juicy fruit on the palate, black berries and plums, also some more smoky and roasted oak, fairly prominent, quite fine and very slightly sandy tannins, grippy, good persistence, has some depth, some malted notes and chocolate, hint of tobacco, very good finish.

Editor note: Fairly mature nose, dark berries and dried herbs, spicy oak and some smoky notes, cabbage in the background. Full-bodied on the palate with prominent spicy oak, loads of ripe dark fruit, roasted notes, some mroe dried herbs and sweetish spice, some licorice, dried prunes, some tobacco, medium depth, good long finish.
