2010 Colli Tortonesi DOC Barbera Superiore "Bruma d'Autunno", Piedmont, Italy

A tart, earthy, somewhat smoky-woody and nutty aroma of more black than red berries and a little cherry with tobacco aromas, a little dried mushrooms and tar. Ripe, juicy, rather dark fruit with nutty and wood spicy aromas, a little chestnut and coffee grounds, fine sandy tannin, some bite, has power, persistent on the palate, peppery spicy and dried herbal tones, a little smoke and bacon, very good, firm, warm finish with tarry tones and a little jammy fruit
