2015 Barbaresco DOCG "Bordini", Piedmont, Italy

Tart, somewhat dried-floral scent reminiscent of soup herbs with subtle berry tones, a little mushroom, leather, cardamom, tobacco and hints of root vegetables. Relatively juicy, tart fruit with vegetal, herbaceous and floral notes, still rather undeveloped and a bit cheesy, present, fine sand, slightly drying tannins, good sustainability, floral nuances, a hint of citrus zest, salt in the background, still slightly covered, nutty tones and a hint of cocoa, very good, on the one hand quite fresh, only noticeably drying and a little bit bitter aftertaste.
