2009 Colline Savonesi IGT Granaccia, Sciurbì, Liguria, Italy

Tart, fairly cool berry fruit and cherries on the nose, medicinal herbs and some candied nuts. Clear, fairly juicy fruit on the palate, sugar candy and chocolate, some nutty traces, mature tannins, fairly persistent, sweetish and creamy, slightly warm alcohol, unnecessarily sweet again on an attractive to good finish.
