2015 Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, Tuscany, Italy

Quite firm, somewhat tobacco, herbaceous and woody scent of very ripe red and black berries with a little iodine, meaty and earthy tones, pomegranate and mineral notes. Firm and tart-juicy in the mouth, ripe, relatively dark fruit, tobacco and roasted oak, some pepper, some tar on the palate and a little smoke, present, ripe, quite fine tannins, some acid bite, salt in the background, a hint of citrus fruits, very good, firm, juicy finish with a lot of strength, but also bite again.
