2012 Chianti Classico DOCG Riserva Vigneti di Campomaggio®, Tuscany, Italy

Clear, slightly polished nose, ripe red berries and sour cherries with black berry notes, dried paprika and light earthy and wilted floral aromas. Ripe, partly preserved preserved, delicately tart fruit, rather cool, very fine tannins and some acid bite, fairly persistent, herbaceous and tobacco notes, not particularly deep, leathery traces, some salt in the background, still a touch, good to very good , austere and again relatively cool finish.
