2013 Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG, Tuscany, Italy

Somewhat nutty as well as delicately tobacco and dried floral scent of ripe red and somewhat black berries with plum tones, a little liquorice and also oak. Clear, rather tart, tight and juicy fruit, present, fine sandy tannin, tobacco notes and slightly cocoa-spicy wood, persistent, still rather young, salty nuances in the background, a little cardamom and dried-floral tones, relatively complex, only a little woody, very good, firm finish with some black olive and oregano
